Yesterday, TG4 published on their official Junior Eurovision Song Contest Twitter feed, a message to say details on this year’s Contest were to follow.

Although it is yet to be confirmed, it is expected the National Selection process used since 2015 will be implemented once again.
Ireland was represented by Muireann McDonnell last year in Tbilisi. She finished in 15th place with a total of 54 points – with her entry “Suile Glasa”.
