
It is a while since we’ve brought you any news on this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest – to be held in the Belarusian capital of Minsk. Yesterday we found out Wales are debuting at the Contest this year and you can find out more information about that HERE.
Today we round up all the news from this year’s other confirmed participating countries so far.
Armenia
After a potential withdrawal, it was announced during the final of Depi Evratesil that Depi Mankakan Evratesil will be used to select this year’s entrant for Minsk.
Belarus
Belarus are hosting the event. No details on how their entrant is been selected has been revealed, but they normally use a National Final.
Georgia
The selection show “Ranina” is currently under way to select their entrant.
Netherlands
Participation has been confirmed for Minsk. Details on how the entrant will be selected has yet to be confirmed.
Poland
Participation has been confirmed for Minsk and the entrant will be chosen in October.
Portugal
Participation has been confirmed for Minsk. Details on how the entrant will be selected has yet to be confirmed.
Russia
The Russian National Final will be held on Sunday 3rd June.
