Newstalk Radio in Ireland is having a week-long coverage of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

#MONDAY – Garrett Mulhall will be talking to Kieran Cuddihy this morning at 9:45am about the highs and lows of the contest.

#TUESDAY – Garrett Mulhall will be interviewing Irish Eurovision hopeful Ryan O’Shaughnessy at 8:45 on the Newstalk Breakfast Show.

Later that day on ‘The Hard Shoulder’ with Ivan Yates, Newstalk will have Paul Harrington and Charlie McGettigan in the studio reliving their 1994 win.

#WEDNESDAY – 1992 winner Linda Martin will be giving Newstalk listeners backstage gossip from her win in Malmo plus her thoughts on this year’s contest. Again this will be on ‘The Hard Shoulder’ with Ivan Yates.

#THURSDAY – ‘The Hard Shoulder’ with Ivan Yates continues the theme when he has TV Producer/Broadcaster/Eurovision Judge Bill Hughes and Tom Dunne Newstalk Host/Musician and Eurovision Fan will talk about their memories of the contest, what makes a winning song and how can we win the contest again.

#FRIDAY – Ivan Yates finishes off the week by talking to Marty Whelan who will again be presenting RTE’s coverage of the 3 shows.
