After a fantastic night in Aalborg, Rasmussen has won Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2018 and will be singing “Higher Ground” in Lisbon as Denmark’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Denmark will perform in the 2nd semi final on the 10th of May. Can Rasmussen take them all the way to the final?

I am really in 2 minds about this. My personal favourite as a SONG was definitely “Starlight” – the runner up. AND I wonder if this kind of “ethnic” songs ( and I really do mean qoute “ethnic”) isn’t history in more than one way. To me, Ukraine did this already back in 2003.
But: it’s not bad. And – as usuallly – it comes down to what the rest of Europe is up to this year.
In all honesty, even being a Dane, I don’t think this kind of song deserves to win Eurovision 2018. And I hate the fact that it’s written by calculating Swedes. Please, more honesty. That was what Portugal tought us last year.,
