#UK: The Brighton Dome & That Interval Act!!!

you-decide

Tonight, the Brighton Dome hosted Eurovision You Decide, only 44 years after it hosted the Eurovision Song Contest back in 1974, when ABBA took the victory with Waterloo.

Tonight during the National Final for the United Kingdom here in Brighton, we were treated to a montage of the 1974 contest, culminating in ABBA’s winning performance. In 1974, the Wombles were the Interval Act and while they briefly appeared in the montage, as well as one making the stage, I thought we ought to have a proper reminder of 1974.

ABBA may have won the contest back in 1974, but the Wombles certainly won the hearts of millions – enjoy and reminisce down Memory Lane on behalf of us!!!
