Even though it was leaked a few weeks ago, TG4 officially announced only today the name of Ireland’s representative for Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

Tonight the final was aired and the 11 yrs old singer and songwriter Muireann McDonnell  won with the song “Súile Glasa” (Green Eyes), obtaining 2 votes out of 3 possible. On the second place came Gwanaelle Noval with the song “Lig Dom Lonrú”.
