Did you enjoy the scenary from “Yodel It!” video? In case you forgot or didn’t know, Ilinca and Alex performed their song in the beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca (The so called heart of Transylvania).

Today Cluj-Napoca Council pledged to assume the co-organizer’s expenses in partnership with the Romanian Television TVR so that the selection could be held in this city. The musical competition would receive around 121,000 EUR funding from the local budget.

“We are glad that we have the modernized and free hall so we can organize the Eurovision National Selection, which is a brand-new event and which strengthens the status of Cluj as capital of sports and artistic events,” said Emil Boc, Mayor of Cluj.

The event will most likely be held at Sala Polivalenta.

The dates and details are yet to be released.
