Mihai Traistariu
It’s that time of year again when we all do a merry dance with the #Fabulous Mihai Traistariu as to whether he is returning to Eurovision but today he confirmed it!
Mihai gave Romania one of their best results at Eurovision back in 2006 and I admit that I still dance to ‘Tornero’ around my bedroom as I get ready for a Saturday night out on the town – to the dismay of my neighbors ;-)
Earlier this year Mihai spoke to us about a return to Eurovision 2015 – READ HERE . Then he had us all a quiver again in 2014 when he at the very last-minute decided to withdraw from the Romanian National Selection – READ HERE
So now we roll on to 2016. This would be the 10 year anniversary of his entry at Eurovision – Good timing. Then he is appearing at OGAE Greece’s upcoming event – Promising. Then he posts a video of him singing Polina Gagarina’s Eurovision song ‘A Million Voices’ – Now I’m twitching with excitement.
However today he posted on Facebook that he is returning to Eurovision 2016 with the song ‘Paradisio’

More details will surely follow on the official Facebook Page for Paradisio – SEE HERE
No details as yet if this is Mihai entering a Romanian National Selection Competition or if it is an Internal selection for Romania this year at Eurovision. We will find out for you so stay tuned.

So what do you think of potentially having Mihai back at Eurovision? Will it be difficult to find another great song like ‘Tornero’? Could this be Romania’s year at the contest.
