Interesting Observations
- 106 jury members are female, 131 are male, 3 are still missing
- The average age is 40 years (age on the day of the Final)
Overall there is a higher percentage of Male Jury members with a split of 55% Men to 45% Women.
The average age of Jury Members is 40. Will that impact the songs that will score well at the contest as tastes certainly differ with age demographics.
What are the Jury Members asked to Vote On?
Jury Members are asked to vote on the following criteria
- Evaluate the composition
- The performance
- Overall act
- The song’s potential to be a hit record
Criteria 4 is interesting as with the average jury member age being 40 and the average age of someone who downloads songs are under 20 – so there could be a disconnect there.
