Who will represent Romania at Eurovision 2015? That is the question many Eurovision fans are asking now and it looks as if several acts are coming forward with their songs already, so here is what our new writer from Romania – Fedeles Bogdan – has uncovered in the local media.
Romania has never missed the Eurovision final since 2004 when the semi-finals were introduced and it is yet to win the contest.
The pressure is on but untill this day there is almost no news about who will participate at “Selectia Nationala” for 2015.
Diana Hetea is the only name we have so far that might enter the national final. She also tried in 2013 with the song “ I believe in love”, but failed to qualify due to some health issues that she had the night of qualification for the final.
Amongst the favorites of the public to take part in the romanian selection are the following:
Delia Matache  singer and also a member of the jury on X Factor Romania with a powerfull balad named “Pe aripi de vant” (On wind’s wings)
Loredana – singer and a member of the jury on The Voice of Romania with a pop romanian song called “Risipitor” (Squanderer). She is also no stranger to the Romanian national selection for Eurovision. In 2005 she was 2nd, losing to Luminita & Sistem with their energetic song “Let me try”.
Alina Eremia – singer and actress, finalist at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2005 (Hasselt-Belgium), when she came 5th.  Her song is intitled “Cand luminile se sting” (When the lights are off) and seems to be a soul touching melody.

Mihai Traistariu – You can never count Mihai out of a return to the contest. He asked his fans to decide again last year if he should return to Eurovision. After a lot of consideration he bowed out but the door is open for a return should he have the courage and judging from all his working out picture on his Facebook page he is up for the challenge.

So what do you think of these potential Eurovision 2015 acts?  After all those years singing in English, Italian or Spanish, should Romania send finally a song in Romanian language?
