Eurovision winner Lulu, Eurovision Interval Act 2014 Jessica Mauboy and Pop Queen Kylie got upstaged by an Australian athlete Genevieve LaCaze at the Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony Concert in Glasgow last night.

Mauboy and Minogue were performing at the closing ceremony as they were inviting the athletes to compete at the 2018 games in the Gold Coast in Australia.

Scotland’s 1969 Eurovision winner Lulu was there along with a host of other local music stars to give the games a good send off. She opened the show with her version of ‘Shout’

However the stage and the limelight was stolen by the Australian athlete Genevieve LaCaze. She casually walked up onto the stage during Kylie’s performance of ‘The Locomotion’ and busted a few moves before she was removed. As you can see from the clip the Australian media and loving LaCaze’s stunt – like we do too. This was the athlete’s first Commonwealth Games and she competed in the Steeplechase event. Hopefully not her last games!
