This morning in the Austrian Newspaper Vorarlberger Nachrichten, the Director General of ORF (Austrian National Broadcaster) Alexander Wrabetz revealed in an interview the dates for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.
In the interview (SEE HERE) he has revealed the dates that ORF have already been decided on saying
“The halls in Innsbruck, Graz and Vienna meet our requirements. Therefore, we were able to define 23 May next year as a fixed date already. The Song Contest will therefore take place in one of these halls. “
This would mean that the semi final of Eurovision 2015 would take place on May 19th, 21st and then the Grand Final on May 23rd. The final decision on the city to host the contest he also confirms will not be made until the end of July/Beginning of August – as was reported yesterday
We have asked the EBU for their comments.
The EBU have confirmed that the dates have been officially changed to May 19th, 21st and 23rd 2015/
