ISRAEL – Mei Finegold proves that you can’t hold a good woman down as the Eurovision singer releases a new song that is a certain HIT! She has decided to cover of The Beloved’s ‘Sweet Harmony’.
If you are going to play with a classic song like ‘Sweet Harmony’ then you better make sure that you do a good job of it – and she has! This is going to be a floor filler across Europe for sure and not just at the Tel-Aviv Pride Celebrations on June 13th. It is the official anthem for the event and its expected that there will be 150,000 people celebrating when Finegold takes to the stage.
The song is a collaboration between Mei, Shlomi Levi & Shay Rokach. The video was directed by Lior Nordman (Finegold’s Husband) who directed her Eurovision “Same Heart” video.
The theme of the video is “Let’s Come Together” and shows people of different genders, ethnicity and sexual orientation coming together. A brave decision to take on ‘Sweet Harmony’ but one never succeeds without taking chances.
A great cover version of the song with a cracking video and message. All we have to say is “Mei Finegold – 12 Points”
