It is with sad news that we bring the news of the sudden passing of Lynne Kieran – member of the Austrian 2000 Eurovision Representatives the Rounder Girls. Lynne passed away yesterday at the age of 53.
Lynne – who was born in London – formed the Rounder Girls Austrian Tini Kainrath and American Kim Cooper. In 2000 the represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm with the song “All To You” . They placed fourteenth in the Final with their 60’s inspired song. The band released 6 albums with the latest being “Women” in 2012.
Lynne and the band performed a concert on Saturday in Purkersdorf, Austria.
The team at Eurovision Ireland send their condolences to Lynne Kieran’s family and friends.
