Eric Saade who represented Sweden at Eurovision 2011, is back with his new song “Boomerang”. We reviewed the song earlier this week – but he has now released a Robin Thicke inspired video to go with the song.
In keeping with his attempts to break his cute poster boy image, he has released an official lyric video for the song. Though not as explicit as “Blurred Lines”, it certainly is his Miley Cyrus (watered down) moment when you say to yourself “Is that really an Eric Saade video with a half-naked woman in it?”.
Comparisons will be drawn on the video side to Robin Thicke, but this is the “close your eyes for 2 seconds” parental video for their children.
Is this enough for Eric to break down the boy next door image or is it the start of the manly Eric PR campaign? Let us know.
