1974 UK Eurovision and overall Global Superstar – Olivia Newton John – is still reeling after the discovery of a dead man at her home in Florida.

The news was broken during the night and details were very unclear. Police are now saying that the dead man found at Newton John’s property was a 42-year-old contractor whom was working at the star’s house alone.

It is believed that he died from a self-inflicted gun shot according to Australian news reports.

It appears that Olivia was set to sell her home to American star Rosie O’Donnell. Not sure we would feel comfortable exchanging contracts following these tragic events.

Olivia Newton John represented the United Kingdom at Eurovision in 1974 with the song “Long Live Love” that placed 4th on the contest. She went on to star in the iconic movie “Grease” with John Travolta, and as they say the rest is history. Grammy awards and Global #1’s were to follow. Remembering happier times for the star.
