Eurovision Winners – Loreen and Abba’s Agnetha – Is this a Eurovision 2013 collaboration?

Earlier this month we at Eurovision Ireland commented on the coincidence that Eurovision Legend Agnetha Faltskog (of Abba fame)  was releasing her latest album in over 9 years on May 13th – just as Eurovision Week began. Rumors began to circulate that Agnetha might be taking part in the Swedish Eurovision shows.

These rumors are growing as Eurovision Winner 2012 Loreen has been pictured with Agnetha and media are speculating if both maybe performing in some capacity? Agnetha has also said that “She is not as adverse to reuniting with her former Abba colleagues” claimed the Guardian Newspaper in the UK. Could Eurovision 2013 see Agnetha complete her return to musical stardom? Her album “A” is set for release on May 13th. Her song “When You Really Loved Someone” has already made the Top 10 in the Swedish download charts and critical response to her song has been extremely positive.

Is this the start of the biggest Pop Comeback of all time for Abba? Time will tell. Roll on Eurovision 2013 for answers to this media speculation.
