So who will be the successor to Tooji for our friends in Norway and represent them at Eurovision 2013? Yes at 19.15(GMT) NRK (Norwegian National Broadcaster) will broadcast a show case programme with the first 7 acts that will be competing in the first Norwegian Semi Final in the town of Steinkjer.

One gets the feeling that Norway feel that they have a lot to prove considering the poor showing of Tooji in Baku and the shock of Stella not qualifying for the final in Düsseldorf. You also know that there is a very healthy rivalry between Sweden and Norway so I am sure the Norwegians want to send an amazing song and performer to Malmo.

In case you missed our earlier article today – with the rumours in the Norwegian press that AlexanderRybak is set to make a come back to Eurovision as the composer of an entry, we will look at tonight’s show with anticipation – though if I was NRK I would hold onto the Rybak Trump card until the last Semi Final and keep people waiting for the song.
