Poland , last night, held their National Final to decide who will represent them at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Vienna. Last year, Poland were represented by Justyna Steczkowska, with the song GAJA . The eight candidates hoping to succeed her were :

Alicja – Pray

Anastazja – Wild Child

Basia Giewont – Zimna Woda

Jeremi Sikorski – Cienie Przeszłości

Karolina Szczurowska – Nie Bój Się

Ola Antoniak – Don’t You Try

Piotr Pręgowski – Parawany Tango

Stasiek Kukulski – This Too Shall Pass

However . there could only be one winner and after an exciting contest Alicja won the golden ticket to Vienna, with their song Pray. This song won 32% of the vote, with second place only garnering 18%. As you may know, Alicja was selected to sing for Poland in 2020, before the contest was cancelled.

Poland will compete in the second half of the first semi final on 12th May in Vienna , Austria.
