The EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, have revealed tickets have sold out in record time, for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
Tickets for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 have sold out in record time, underlining the Contest’s extraordinary popularity and continued power to bring audiences together as it celebrates its 70th edition. The Grand Final in Vienna in May sold out 14 minutes after going on sale with all Semi-Final tickets gone in 20 minutes.
Fans also snapped up tickets for the two Preview Shows for each Semi-Final and the Grand Final. All available tickets were sold out one hour after the sale began. Martin Green CBE, Director of the Eurovision Song Contest, had the following to say:
“The response has been phenomenal. To see every single show sell out so quickly is a powerful reminder of what the Eurovision Song Contest represents – joy, togetherness, and shared experience at a time when that feels more important than ever.
For those who registered and didn’t manage to secure tickets for their preferred show, there will be more opportunities later in the spring. And for fans who want to experience the Eurovision Song Contest closer to home look out for an exciting announcement very soon.”
