AVROTROS, the Dutch national broadcaster, have revealed who won’t be providing the Dutch commentary, at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, in Vienna.
AVROTROS has confirmed that Cornald Maas will not be providing the Dutch commentary on the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest – determined that it would not be appropriate for him to commentate following their withdrawal. Cornald has commentated at the Contest between 2004 and 2010, before returning on an annual basis since 2014. Cornald will return to the commentary booth, if and when AVROTROS participates again. NTR and NOS, who will be collaborating in broadcasting the Contest from Vienna, will have to find a new commentator.
