
The Municipality of Vienna have revealed the first details of the EuroVillage & the Turquoise Carpet, ahead the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.
The EuroVillage will take place from Sunday 10th to Sunday 17th May, opening between 11:00 CET until 00:00 CET. In addition to the live broadcasts of both Semi-Finals and the Grand Final, the usual EuroVillage entertainment will take place. The EuroVillage will conclude on Sunday 17th May, with a special programme entitled “Danke Wien” (Thank you, Vienna).
The Turquoise Carpet will kick-start the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest celebrations, on Sunday 10th May. All delegations will first present themselves to the public on a large show stage set up directly in front of the town hall. Afterwards, the delegations will walk down the Turquoise Carpet, which will stretch in a semicircular shape across the Rathausplatz.
