ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster, have announced the core team ahead of the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.

ORF have announced their core team as they set out their plans for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest. Many of the personnel are familiar from either the Austrian delegation or from the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest – which took place in Vienna. The core team are:

• Executive Producer – Michael Krön
• Show Producer – Stefan Zechner – Head of Delegation for Austria since 2011 and Show Producer in 2015
• Head of Production – Daniel Hack
• Technical Manager of the Eurovision Core Team – Christine Tichy – Previously Assiatance Production Manager at Eurovision 2015
• Legal Advisor – Martin Szerencsi
• Head of Communications – Roman Horacek – Head of Press for the Austrian delegation since 2005
• Marketing Manager – Iris Keutter – Previously head of marketing for Austria in 2014 and for the 2015 contest
• Event Manager for off-air activities – Oliver Lingens
• Executive Assistant to the Executive Producer – Christina Lassnig
• Secretary General – Christina Heinzle-Conrad

Roland Weißmann, ORF Director General, had the following to say:

“With the 2026 Song Contest, ORF has taken on a mega-project, for which we have just under a year to implement it. The existing expertise and Eurovision experience at ORF are invaluable. I am delighted that we have been able to assemble a team of experts who – under the leadership of Executive Producer Michael Krön – will make Eurovision 2026 an unforgettable event that all of Austria will be proud of.”
