SBS, the South Korean national broadcaster, have announced Global Veiled Musician – a pan-regional version of Veiled Musician.

The Global Veiled Musician will feature singers from thirteen countries and is been dubbed as the Asian Eurovision Song Contest. The Veiled Musician was launched in 2023 and is based on the premise of finding the best singer while knowing next to no detail about the singer. The winner of Global Veiled Musician will be determined by global audience voting. The competition will be held during the second half of 2025 and follow this format:

• In October, national selection rounds will be held; from these selections, three singers will be chosen to compete for their country.
• South Korea: Semi-Final First Round (Recorded) – Thirty-nine semi-finalists compete for twenty-four places in the next round.
• South Korea: Semi-Final Second Round (Recorded) – Twenty-four semi-finalists compete for eight places in the final.
• South Korea: Final (Live) – Eight finalists compete for victory. The final is due to be held and broadcast in December; the exact date will be confirmed closer to the date.

• Laos – Lao Fashion TV
• Malaysia – Media Prima
• Mongolia – MNB
• Myanmar – MRTV4
• Philippines – GMA
• Singapore – Media Corp
• South Korea – SBS / Netflix
• Taiwan – Sanlih E-Television
• Thailand – ThananVarman Media
• Vietnam – HTV7
