Here at Eurovision Ireland, we are taking a historical look back on our favourite Contests past and present, on the very day they took place. Today it’s March 7th:
Saturday 7th March 2020
On this day in 2020, the 60th edition of Melodifestivalen took place in Stockholm. The Mamas took victory with “Move” and 137 points. Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, The Mamas didn’t get to represent Sweden, as the Eurovision Song Contest was cancelled.
