
NDR, the German national broadcaster, have announced format changes for the final of “Chefsache ESC – Wer singt für Deutschland?” – their national selection for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel.
The final of “Chefsache ESC – Wer singt für Deutschland?” will be split into two rounds. During the first round, all nine acts will not only perform their potential Eurovision entry, but also a cover too. The jury will pick five finalists to go through to round two. The winner of Chefsache ESC 2025 will be determined solely by public voting.
The jury for the final will consist of Stefan Raab, Yvonne Catterfeld and guest jurors Nico Santos & Conchita Wurst. Regular juror, Elton, is unavailable due to scheduling conflicts.
The nine artists and their potential Eurovision entries are:
- Moss Kena – “Nothing Can Stop Love“
- JULIKA – “Empress“
- Benjamin Braatz – “Like You Love Me“
- COSBY – “I’m Still Here“
- Abor & Tynna – “Baller“
- Feuerschwanz – “Knightclub“
- LEONORA – “The Bliss“
- LYZA – “Lovers On Mars“
- The Great Leslie – “These Days“
