Alexandra Redde-Amiel, the French Head of Delegation, has revealed the return to a Saturday evening slot for the first time since 2015, is a one-year trial and will be reviewed after the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest has taken place in Madrid.
Alexandra Redde-Amiel, the French Head of Delegation, had the following to say:
“Due to the time difference in some countries, programming in prime time is impossible. A consensus was reached around Saturday at 6pm and this access broadcast offers great visibility to the contest. Junior Eurovision is a very important brand for the future, which must continue to grow.”
