Eurovision Ireland’s countdown to the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid, continues today. This year, our countdown will look at the top Acts to ‘Bloom’ for the Participating Countries past and present, while we will also look at the top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ from all the previous Contests.
Today we are looking at this year’s participating country of North Macedonia. While they have never made the #Top3, the North Macedonians have made the #Top5 a total of two times so far. The two North Macedonian Acts to ‘Bloom’ within the #Top5 were:
2007: Rosica Kulakova and Dimitar Stojmenovski, “Ding Ding Dong” (5th place, 111 points)
2008: Bobi Andonov, “Prati mi SMS” (5th place, 93 points)
2024: Ana & Aleksej, “Marathon”
Can Ana & Aleksej take North Macedonia to their first ever #Top3 position or even their first ever victory? We will find out on Saturday 16th November.
