
Eurovision Ireland’s countdown to the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid, continues today. This year, our countdown will look at the top Acts to ‘Bloom’ for the Participating Countries past and present, while we will also look at the top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ from all the previous Contests.
Today we are looking at the Kyiv Contest of 2009. The top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ at Kyiv 2009 were:
The Netherlands, 1st: Ralf Mackenbach, “Click Clack” (121 points)
Armenia, 2nd: Luara Hayrapetyan, “Barcelona” (116 points – 3 x 12 points)
Russia, 2nd: Ekaterina Ryabova, “Malenkiy prints” (116 points – 2 x 12 points)
Belgium, 4th: Laura Omloop, “Zo verliefd (Yodelo)” (113 points)
Ukraine, 5th: Andranik Alexanyan, “Try topoli, try surmy” (89 points)
