Eurovision Ireland’s countdown to the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid, continues today. This year, our countdown will look at the top Acts to ‘Bloom’ for the Participating Countries past and present, while we will also look at the top five Acts to ‘Bloom’ from all the previous Contests.

Today we are looking at the former participating country of Azerbaijan. While they never made the #Top3, the Azeris did make the #Top5 a total of once. The one Azeri Act to ‘Bloom’ within the #Top5 was:

2021: Sona Azizova, “One of Those Days” (5th place, 151 points)
