The City Council of Madrid have revealed the number of volunteers at their disposal, ahead of their hosting of the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

The “Voluntarios por Madrid” team currently have 19,153 registered volunteers to help with different national and international events that are held in Madrid. Madrid City Council had the following to say:

“The volunteer corps is present in the various critical situations that take place in the city, as well as in its most relevant events, demonstrating its ability to organise and support major international events.

Thanks to this, Madrid has been selected as the host of Junior Eurovision 2024. This prestigious event will be held on November 16th and will have the participation of this body for its development.”
