ITV, the Azeribaijani national broadcaster, has confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid.

The Azeribaijani delegation gave three reasons why Azerbaijan no longer participate in the Contest. However, if there is a individual/or individuals interested, ITV will review participation. Current reasons for non-participation are:

• Lack of national interest
• Participation costs
• Viewing ratings lower than expected
