RTVE, the Spanish national broadcaster, will be hosting the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid, in 99 days time.

Fifteen of last year’s sixteen participating countries have confirmed participation, with only the United Kingdom withdrawing for 2024. There are strong rumours circulating social media that there will be two returning participating countries, therefore a minimum of seventeen countries possibly competing.

More details have yet to be revealed – including the slogan and theme art. While the slogan was revealed during the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool, the theme art was revealed at the end of August for the 2023 Contest. RTVE have yet to deliver a timeline for either of these.
