BBC Alba, the Scottish national broadcaster, have confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid.

Following the BBC’s non-participation at the 2024 Contest, BBC Alba have confirmed to Eurofestivales that they have no plans to participate in the children’s contest. BBC Alba have previously participated in one Eurovision event – Eurovision Choir 2019, failing to make it to the second round.
