The BBC, the British national broadcaster, have confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Madrid.

Helen Holt, the BBC’s Communications Co-ordinator, had the following to say:

“Sometimes we have to make difficult decisions and the BBC will not be participating in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year. We would like to thank the artists and creative teams who have represented the UK over the past two years.”
