It’s June and it’s Pride month. Here at Eurovision Ireland, we are going to highlight some of the LGBTQ+ artists to have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest.
For June 1st, we are starting with the reigning champion, Nemo. They represented Switzerland with “The Code”, taking victory with 591 points. Nemo is Non-Binary & Pansexual. You can watch their performance of “The Code” below:
Non-Binary refers to a person who doesn’t identify only male or only female, or who identifies as both. It is a word used to define genders that do not fit into either male or female classifications. Pansexual refers to a person whose romantic and/or sexual attraction towards others is not limited by sex or gender.
