Back in January, the EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, CLARIFIED the number of countries that would be allowed to take part in the 2024 Eurovision Young Musicians, in Bodø – however this was previously reported differently at the beginning of last month.
SRF, the Swiss German-language national broadcaster, had revealed an increased number of participating nations to twelve. Now ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster, reports that there will be eleven participating countries. ORF have however mentioned the participation of Serbia & Poland, but Slovenia doesn’t seem to be listed as taking part.
TVP, the Polish national broadcaster, has participated in every Contest since 2000, while RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster, have previously participated once, in the 2008 Contest.
At present only ten participating countries have announced their intentions to take part. They are Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, Norway (host country), Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.
