
The Malmö Municipal Board has decided how the budget of €2.5m will be allocated for the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, in Malmö. Malmö have allocated their 2024 Eurovision Song Contest budget as follows:
- The Technical Committee receives approximately €580 000 for the work with Eurovision Park and Eurovillage at Folkets Park.
- The Culture Board receives approximately €160 000 for the work with programs and communication.
- The Recreation Board receives approximately €290 000 for the work with 600 unpaid volunteers and for “city dress”, such as flags, banners and banners that will fill Malmö.
- The municipal board also allocates approximately €560 000 to a wide range of general extra costs connected to the giant event.
Additional money for the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest budget, will come from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and Sveriges Television (SVT).
