Contrary to an earlier announcement, Khabar, the Kazakh national broadcaster, has announced broadcasting plans for the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.

Khabar have announced that they will be broadcasting the Contest live, 21:00 local time. While they are not participating in Nice this year, the Director of Khabar previously stated that he is hopeful that Khabar will return to Junior Eurovision next year.
