With ‘Heroes’ as the theme of the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice, we will be celebrating the Heroes from previous editions of the Contest. Today, we look at the final set of Heroes from Portugal.

Joana Almeida represented Portugal at the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Gliwice. Joana Almeida participated with “Vem comigo (Come with Me)”, finishing in 16th place and 43 points.

Simão Oliveira represented Portugal at the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Paris. Simão Oliveira participated with “O rapaz”, finishing in 11th place and 101 points.

Nicolas Alves represented Portugal at the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan. Nicolas Alves participated with “Anos 70”, finishing in 8th place and 121 points – Portugal’s best position to date.

Júlia Machado will represent Portugal at the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice, with “Where I Belong”. Can Júlia achieve Portugal’s first victory in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest?
