TVR, the Romanian national broadcaster, has confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.

Romania have participated at the Contest seven times, however they have not participated since 2010. TVR have not stated the reasons for non-participation in the Contest.
