
Two further cities have joined Stockholm and Gothenburg in the race to host the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, in Sweden.
This afternoon, the Municipality of Malmö has confirmed it has submitted a bid to host the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest. It last hosted in 2013 at the Malmö Arena and before that, in 1992, when the Contest was held at the Malmö Isstadion. While the bid focusses around the Malmö Arena, no more information is known.
Örnsköldsvik has also it has confirmed it has submitted a bid to host the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest – with Hägglunds Arena as the venue of choice. A representative for Örnsköldsvik, had the following to say:
“The city is big with music and big with nature.”
