RTVSLO, the Slovenian national broadcaster, has confirmed that they will not be participating at the 2023 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Nice.

Slovenia have participated in the Contest between 2014 and 2015. RTVSLO also broadcast the Contest in 2016. Gregor Zalokar, RTVSLO’s Press Officer, had the following to say:

“Slovenia will not participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023.”
