
TRM, the Moldovan national broadcaster, has announced 2 songs have have been disqualified in Etapa NaÅ£ionalÄ ā their national selection for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, in Liverpool.
2 songs have been disqualified in Etapa NaÅ£ionalÄ 2023. The 2 songs are:
- NĆRDIKA, āSkueeze Paradiseā – The song was found to have been published online on February 8, 2012, over ten years before the cut-off date.
- Massimo Sinceri & DA-MUSE, āIn questo domaniā – They have been disqualified after the duet were found in breach of the rules regarding citizenship of participants, where at least 50% of the singers in a group must hold Moldovan citizenship.
31 songs will continue to progress to the live audition stage. The live auditions for Etapa NaÅ£ionalÄ 2023 will take place on Saturday 28th January, 14:00 local time on TV Moldova 2. The ten finalists will be revealed on TV Moldova 1, from 19:30 local time. The final of Etapa NaÅ£ionalÄ 2023 will take place on an undetermined date between Saturday 25th February and Sunday 5th March, on TV Moldova 1 and online. The winner will be determined by a 50% jury vote and 50% public vote.
