CyBC, the Cypriot national broadcaster, have confirmed that they will not be competing in the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in Yerevan, Armenia.
While a reason has not been given for non-participation this year, when Cyprus withdrew ahead of the 2018 Contest, this was due to a run of poor results and economic problems at the broadcaster.
