SRG SRR, the Swiss national broadcaster, have announced how they will select for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
After successive qualifications since the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, an internal selection will be used once again.
The nationality of applicant or language of the song is not restricted for the 2023 national selection. Applications open on the SRF website on Thursday 25th August and will close at 22:00 CET, on Thursday 8th September.
Two juries will be used to select the Swiss representative – each with a 50% overall say. The first jury will consist of 100 Swiss television viewers, while the second will be formed of 20 music professionals. The Swiss artist will be announced in early 2023.
