Sheldon Riley, this year’s Australian Eurovision Song Contest participant, has won the inaugural ‘You’re A Vision’ award. Chanel from Spain finished second, while Subwoolfer finished third.
The ‘Barbara Dex’ award has been replaced by the ‘You’re A Vision’ award this year, by songfestival.be, the website currently responsible for the award. The ‘Barbara Dex’ award was replaced due to the negative connotations it brought to its recipients. The ‘You’re A Vision’ award was introduced to promote the positivity, creativity and diversity within the Contest.
