
Welcome to the return of Eurovision Ireland’s first ever A-Z of the Eurovision Song Contest, which we started last summer. Over the course of this weekend, we will be bringing you the conclusion of our alphabetical memories from everyone’s favourite Song Contest. Today, we look at Y.
You
Tornike Kipiani represented Georgia, in 2021, with “You”.
Georgia failed to make the Grand Final for the sixth time. “You” was awarded 16th place and 16 points.
You
Vasil was due to represent North Macedonia at the cancelled 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. He was due to perform “You” in the first Semi Final.
Yes
Ben & Tan were due to represent Denmark at the cancelled 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. They were due to perform “Yes” in the second Semi Final.
Yianna Terzi
Yianna Terzi represented Greece, in 2018, with “Oniro mou”.
Greece failed to make the Grand Final for the second time. “Oniro mou” was awarded 14th place and 81 points.
You Let Me Walk Alone
Michael Schulte represented Germany, in 2018, with “You Let Me Walk Alone”.
Germany have been automatic finalists, as part of the Big 5, since the Semi Finals were introduced. “You Let Me Walk Alone” was awarded 4th place and 340 points.
