During the duration of the Paralympic Games, which are been held in Tokyo, we will be taking a look at a different Eurovision country each day. Today we are looking at Turkey’s best Eurovision entry, after they took Silver in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol Shooting competition.

Turkey have made the Final of the Eurovision Song Contest a total of 33 times. In 2003, when the Contest took place in Riga, Latvia, Turkey achieved their best position to date with a 1st place. Sertab Erener performed “Everyway That I Can” and achieved a total of 167 points.
