At the BEGINNING of July, RAI, the Italian national broadcaster revealed that they would be sitting out the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Today, that decision was revealed to have been reversed and the Italians will be in Paris for the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

In terms of selecting their entry, an internal selection will take place, with the act and song announced during November. RAI will broadcast the 2021 Junior Eurovision Song Contest on RAI Gulp and RAI Play.
